What the service keeps of you, where, for how long, and how to erase it all.
Controller
The service is run in a personal capacity by one person, who is responsible for your data. For any question: [email protected].
The data kept
- Your email address and the language of your account, to sign you in and write to you.
- Your OpenAI key, encrypted, with its last four characters and the date it was verified.
- Your transcriptions: their title, their duration, the raw text and the document.
- The number of transcriptions started each month, for the quota.
- Your recording, only while it is processed.
- Technical cookies only: the session, the language and the theme. No audience measurement, no advertising.
Who processes it, and where
- A hosting provider, in France, hosts the server and the database.
- A storage service, in the European Union, keeps the recording while it is processed, and the backups.
- OpenAI, in the United States, receives the recording for the transcription and the text for the smoothing, under your own account and with your key.
- An email service, in France, sends the login codes and the finished transcriptions.
- An error tracking service, in the European Union, receives the app's error reports, to fix them.
For how long
Your account, your key and your texts: until you delete them. Nothing is deleted automatically.
Your recording: until processing ends, or 24 hours after its upload began if it is never started.
The backups: 30 days. A deletion therefore reaches them within 30 days.
Erase it all
Delete your account from the app, on the My profile page: your key and your transcriptions go with it, and the backups forget them within 30 days.
